Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SENTRION™ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including care home administrators, clinical staff, and any organisation purchasing access to the Service.

2. Description of Service

SENTRION™ is a clinical decision-support and escalation management platform designed for use in adult social care settings. It provides structured tools for observing, assessing, and escalating resident risk. The Service is intended to support — not replace — clinical judgement. All clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the qualified professionals using the system.

3. Medical Disclaimer

SENTRION™ is a documentation and decision-support tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. No output from the system should be interpreted as a clinical instruction. Always follow your organisation's clinical protocols and escalate to qualified healthcare professionals when in doubt.

4. User Accounts and Access

Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. You must not share your password or allow others to access the system using your credentials. Any activity under your account is your responsibility. You must notify your administrator immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Data and Patient Information

The Service processes special category personal data (health information) as defined under the UK GDPR. Your organisation acts as the Data Controller. SENTRION™ acts as the Data Processor. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request and must be in place before live patient data is entered into the system.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service; (c) introduce malicious code or disrupt the Service; (d) use the Service to store data unrelated to adult social care; (e) reproduce, copy or resell any part of the Service without written permission.

7. Subscription and Payment

Access to SENTRION™ is provided on a subscription basis. Fees are charged monthly in advance. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled in writing at least 14 days before the renewal date. No refunds are provided for partial months. Pricing is as stated on the website at the time of subscription.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SENTRION™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to clinical outcomes, regulatory findings, or data loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe poses a risk to other users or the integrity of the Service. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
